Today, as Executive Director, Carolyn manages the O Shaughnessy Center and works with its staff and volunteers to present a community theatre season, a sponsored music series in World and American-roots music, professional theatre performances, a theatre education program, and community outreach performances to children and seniors. She has witnessed the growth of theatre and all the performing arts in the valley with great pride and satisfaction. Carolyn and her husband Doug are the proud parents of Aaron (and wife Tessa), Adam, and Elizabeth. Jesse holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Masters in Directing / Devising Theatre. Since relocating from NYC she has directed THE WIZARD OF OZ, PETER PAN, and DISTRACTED for Whitefish Theatre Co. Jesse is the Montana State Representative for American Alliance for Theatre Education and is also a 9-year member of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. Shortly after arriving in the valley 4+ years ago, she met her wonderful husband, Kevin DeVine (a Helitack Manager for the DNRC). Having lived in several different states to facilitate the growth of her career in theatre, Jesse is happy to announce that the moving is over. As WTC s Public Relations Writer, Sabine writes our evening programs, newspaper articles, brochures, and all-things-word at the theatre, in addition to bringing us into the Facebook age of social media. She hopes to help draw in people from the community who haven t yet realized how enriching and meaningful theatre can be, particularly those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. She is an MFA graduate student of literature and writing, an Adjunct English teacher at FVCC, and a senior editor of the local Whitefish Review. Her ability to snare many, many volunteers to help her with costumes gives her a workforce to be proud of. Lonnie s life prior to costuming for WTC productions provided her with a diverse range of professional work for television and the feature film industry-experiences she now uses to create costumes and set decorations. Television credits include: Houston Grand Opera, American Ballet Theatre, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, The Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Diamond Jubilee, and The Frugal Gourmet. As WTC s booking agent for the past 10 seasons, Gail has coordinated the hiring of artists for the music series, special theatre and dance performances. This season she will be working with and mentoring Artistic Director Jesse DeVine in this Jigsaw Puzzle of a booking process. Scotty, like his wife Gayle, found his niche at WTC both on stage and in the tech booth. A retired naval aviator, Scotty saw the equipment in the tech booth and decided it looked enough like a cockpit to keep him interested and busy. He has worked with sound, lights, film projection and as the theatre IT person. He appeared in several WTC productions including The Wizard of Oz last season (he was the guy on stilts). Colin is originally from Los Angeles, California. Before moving to Montana, he spent many years doing lighting and production coordinating in the entertainment industry. Colin has had to be flexible, working in film and television on shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond to movies, such as Hidalgo and Spy Game. And he has worked with clients ranging from the Hard Rock Hotel to Motor Trend Magazine. After moving to Montana, thinking he had left that life for good, Colin found himself working with lights again, the first time at WTC on Cinderella in 2007. He enthusiastically began working as Production Manager for WTC last season. He has also worked for the Healing Arts Project in Kalispell, and for Alpine Theatre Project.
